Edit
This review will tell you more about Arma Hobby 1/72 Me-262A-1a (70083). New aircraft kit comes as new-tooled plastic from the famous models manufacturer. It is designed in small scale and has all the chances to become your best option for copying the legendary Schwalbe. Overall packaging is typical for Arma, so all frames come in one plastic bag. There are also few bonuses inside which we will discuss in this article. Let's open everything and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another interesting aircraft.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
First frame is dedicated to wing parts and mix of various bits for both engines. Overall design is slightly different from other kits as the whole wing should be glued out of top and bottom halves.
Nose section would be assembled separately. Here you can see some of the parts for the wheel well and external cover.
Fuselage halves can be found on the next plastic sprue. Note that they are molded without tail section, which should be glued out of separate parts.
Both fuselage halves have guiding elements inside. Those will come in handy for a better alignment of the parts. There are also some minor cockpit wall features premolded.
Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Here you will find canopy parts as well as the the special stand for your aircraft.
Precut masks come as a handy bonus for your aircraft build. Note that those cover not only clear parts, but also landing gear wheels.
Metal ball weights should be handy for this aircraft design, and it is good to have them included in the box.
Decals are printed by Cartograf and carry all necessary symbols for three options. Printing quality looks great, and there are even cockpit decals included. All options can be seen on the photo below.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.
New Me 262 should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it looks like a great offering straight out of the box. Overall quality is just great, and you only need to build everything together. It is also cool to get additional items like metal weights or masks. I have no doubt that there will be more of aftermarket add-ons, but even standard project should look great with some careful assembly.
Get this and other kits on official website.Pros
- Nice molding quality
