ICM 1/72 BM-21 Grad (72707)

This article is dedicated to ICM 1/72 BM-21 Grad (72707). As you can guess, small box brings us yet another version of army URAL truck in small scale. Nevertheless, this time we will get a chance to build one with rocket launcher in the rear section. Packaging is typical here, so all frames come in one plastic bag. There are 127 parts which should assemble into a model with 106mm length. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.

I suggest we start with the new sprue. Here you will find all necessary parts for the GRAD launcher. Note that tubes are one-piece, what should make final look a bit more convincing.

Old plastic comes in black color. As you might know, original release happened some time ago, and those parts are universal for every version of URAL truck.

It is nice to see plastic wheels included here. In my opinion such thing would look better than typical vinyl option in some kits.

Front cab is molded as single-piece part. All doors and bonnet are fixed in place, so you won't be able to open them for some build ideas.

Clear frame looks fine, but keep in mind that there are no masks included in the kit.

There is no word on where decals were printed, but overall quality looks good. ICM decided to supply digital camouflage in form of decals. You can see two markings on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New small truck should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who would like to work on small model. Moreover, you can try to replicate some kind of diorama for even more impressive look. I know, some modelers will say that this is not completely new kit, but in my opinion it still works fine for the given price, and there is plenty of space for some super-detailing on the model.
