Miniart 1/35 RSO/01 with Trailer (53005)

Today I am going to tell you more about Miniart 1/35 RSO/01 with Trailer (53005). Kit comes as combo-release from the famous manufacturer. It is still molded in popular scale and should be interesting for modelers who would like to get a good starter for diorama project. I reviewed both models separately, but it is also useful to see how they work together. Overall packaging is typical for Miniart, and all parts are sealed into one plastic bag. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with Early Version and gun combo.

First frames will bring you body panels as well as separate doors which might be handy for some diorama ideas. Note that wheels were metal on this vehicle, so you will have to do some weathering.

Rear section can be assembled with canvas. In this case you will have to get several panels together, and it is important to get a smooth joint between them.

Trailer will get several frames with parts. Roadwheels here look fine and deserve a good paintwork.

Plastic tracks are good to see in such a model. Those parts will look more convincing on the finished build, and should be easier to paint.

Suspension might be a bit tricky, but with some patience you will get a good result.

Engine and gearbox come on the separate frame. They can be exposed with help of separate bonnet hatch.

All trailer and rear bed panels are smooth. This gives you a choice whether to try to replicate wood with paints or tools.

It might be also a good idea to place something into trailer for even more interesting look.

Last grey frame is the biggest in the kit. Here you will find parts for the suspension and hull of the RSO.

Clear parts are packed separately. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks included in the kit.

Unpainted PE fret should be handy for some fine features on your vehicle. Decals sheet is printed in Cartograf, so quality looks great. You can see all options on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New combo-set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who would like to get two models at once. Yes, in some areas it might take some time to build up, but final result should be worth the effort. Overall quality looks great, and the only thing to add is the figures and some items in the back of trailer. :)
