Valiant Wings Bristol Bulldog Airframe Detail (12)

This time we are going to talk about Valiant Wings Bristol Bulldog Airframe Detail (12). As you can guess from the name, whole publication is dedicated to the famous British biplane. It is still printed as softcover and should be interesting for all fans of this aircraft. I reviewed the previous issues, so it will be interesting to see what is included here. Let's open it and take a closer look together.

By the way, here you can read review with another book from the same series.

Watch this video-review where I show even more pages inside.

We are going to start with contents page. Here you can see three main sections, and each should be equally handy for building aircraft model.

"Technical Description" is full of black-and-white photos, what might be handy for some painting and weathering ideas. Photos can also give ideas for diorama setups.

We also get separate section dedicated to each of aircraft parts. As you can see, it is a mix of technical drawings, photos and pictures.

"Camouflage and Markings" will give you some ideas for paintwork on your model. Those are provided as color profiles, but such thing should be enough to copy something different from standard option. There are more than 50 color profiles in total. Build section will tell you more about Airfix kit assembly.

In total there are 88 pages which are filled with useful information. Book should be already available, and price is typical for this series - 19.45GBP. In my opinion it is a good chance to get all necessary info in one source, so you will definitely appreciate profiles as well as technical drawings. Building article is also useful for understanding on how to better handle Airfix set. Don't forget that Valiant Wings also includes separate section about various add-ons and books, so you can get even more for your project.
