ICM 1/72 URAL-4320 (72708)

Today we are going to take a look at ICM 1/72 URAL-4320 (72708). Kit comes as yet another version of the famous truck in small scale. Note that this time we get it with markings of Armed Forces of Ukraine. Such project might be interesting for modelers who would like to build this truck in modern painting scheme. Packaging is typical here, so all frames come in one bag. There are 101 parts which should assemble into a model with 105mm length. Let's open the box and take a closer look together.

We are going to start with the black frame which carries "universal" parts for URAL truck. Here you will find suspension elements as well as some interior bits.

Rear section should be glued out grey parts. Here you will find separate panels, which should be easy to work with and it might be a good idea to play with weathering on them.

It is good to see plastic wheels here. Such things will be easier to paint, but note that weight effect is not copied here.

Front cab comes as single-piece part. It means that all doors, bonnet and hatches are molded in. Some modelers will like such design, some will try to cut out doors.

Clear parts look great out of the box. The only thing to remember is that there are no masks included, and you will have to cut them yourself.

Decals sheet is not that big, but let's not forget about the scale of this model. Note that ICM printed digital camouflage here, what might speed up the painting process. Two markings are shown on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is an interesting choice for all fans of the small scale. Moreover, even beginners can build something great-looking with all those parts. I am not sure if there is an aftermarket available, but you can try to scratch-build some of the things on truck. I would also prefer to get at least masks template for such model, but unfortunately it is not included this time.
