ICM 1/48 Last Marauder (48329)
This review will tell you more about ICM 1/48 Last Marauder (48329). New kit comes as yet another version of the famous twin engine aircraft. It is still molded in popular scale and offers plenty of features out of the box. One of the main differences will be a marking options choice. Moreover, you might play a bit with some aftermarket if you have some extra budget. Overall packaging is typical for the brand, so all frames are packed into one bag. There are 380 parts inside which should assemble into a model with 453mm wingspan. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with crew kit which should be handy for your build.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
First frame comes with two wing halves. Here you can also see some bulkheads for the fuselage assembly.
Tailwing should be glued out of two halves. Note also large tabs for main wing installation. Those look sturdy, but some modelers still add metal bar for extra rigidity.
Today's Marauder comes with quite generous internal features. Those might be worth thinking on how to show on the finished model.
Engine gondolas are separated into two halves. There are guiding pins which will help with alignment.
Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, and there are masking templates included.
Nose section comes on the separate frame.
Both fuselage halves are big, so take your time while building the model and joining those together. It might be worth gluing everything step-by-step with clamps.
Both engines are included in the kit, and it might be worth thinking on how to expose one of those.
More of the interior features come on the next frame. ICM generously packed those, and the only question is how to show them on the finished build.
Overall molding quality looks great, and I didn't find any possible problem.
Decals sheet is not that big as we get only one marking option which can be seen on the photo below. Printing quality looks great.
Assembly manual is typical for ICM. You can check all pages in the video-review.
New big Marauder should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great offering in any version, and you get a lot of features out of the box. Nevertheless, this is definitely not something what I would recommend to beginners. Final result should be big, and there are a lot of things to get assembled together. All this definitely requires some experience, so don't go for such project if you are not sure in your hands and skills. :)
