Miniart 1/35 M3 Stuart Early Prod. (35412)

Today's review is dedicated to Miniart 1/35 M3 Stuart Early Prod. (35412). As you can guess from the name, plastic set gives us a chance to build yet another version of the famous tank. It is still molded in popular scale, but this time comes without interior parts. For some modelers it might be more attractive as they will be able to focus on external features. Overall packaging is typical for Miniart, so all frames come sealed in one plastic bag. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another version of this small tank.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.

On the first photo you can see hull panels as well as pioneer tools. Parts division is logical and there are guiding elements to help you with alignment.

Note that even though the scale might look large, some parts will require handling with tools as it will be nearly impossible to get them in place.

Even though this is not an interior set, there are still some internal bits which will go into the turret. Such thing might come handy if you plan to open the hatches.

Roadwheels and tracks come on the separate frames. Yes, suspension design is a bit tedious to assemble, but this is something you can't avoid on American tanks. :)

Turret is also divided into several panels. Of course, all hatches are separate, and that is a useful feature for some diorama ideas.

PE fret is not that big, but still brings quite notable things which will be visible on the assembled model.

Clear frame is packed into a separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks included here.

Decals are printed in Cartograf, so you don't have to worry about possible quality issues. Here you will find all necessary symbols for several marking options. You can see them all on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. You can check all pages in the video-review.

New Stuart version should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who would like to build this tank, but don't want to work on interior. Out of the box you will get all necessary things, it is just a matter of careful assembly and painting. Moreover, all the standard features might be handy for some diorama ideas, it can be some figures placement or even full scale scene with base and some soldiers. :)
