Today I am going to tell you more about Foreart 1/72 M19 Twin 40mm Motor Carriage (2004). Kit comes in traditional small scale, but manufacturer promises a lot of features out of the box. I reviewed previous releases, and they were quite impressive, so it will be interesting to see what is supplied here. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, and all frames come in separate bags. Let's open them together and take a look at parts.
By the way, here you can read review with another fresh release from the same brand.

Short history note about M19:
The M19 MGMC was a self-propelled anti-aircraft weapon developed by the United States Army during World War II.
Based on the M24 Chaffee light tank chassis, it was equipped with two powerful 40mm Bofors cannons. This twin-gun configuration provided a formidable anti-aircraft defense, capable of engaging aerial threats with rapid-fire accuracy.
Despite its late entry into production towards the end of the war, the M19 saw limited combat use. However, its design and capabilities influenced the development of subsequent self-propelled anti-aircraft systems.
Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
We are going to start with the biggest frame here. Lower hull section or tub comes as one-piece part. You will have to add separate rear armor wall, but that's pretty much all needed to do. Note that top panel has separate hatches.
Premolded features look great out of the box. Suspension arms don't have a specific positioning, so be sure to check their alignment.
Next sprue is dedicated to turret parts. As you can see, this section will consist out of many parts, so be ready to work with some tiny elements.
It is interesting that the whole "basket" here comes as one part. So you don't have to deal with separate panels and their fitment. Such design is definitely easier to work with.
Each of the guns should be nicely detailed. Yes, they might be tricky to paint due to the size, but final result should be worth it.
Drivetrain parts come on two frames. Separate track lengths should be easy to install on the model, just don't hurry during that process. Roadwheels look great and rubber sections can be painted with thin brush.
Last frame is one of the smallest and carries hatches, pioneer tools and some other minor items. Overall molding quality looks great here.
Foreart included two unpainted PE frets. Parts on them are very tiny, so it will be tweezers assembly process. :)
Metal barrels come as nice surprise and should give even better appearance to your model.
Both decals sheets are not that big, but carry all necessary symbols for several markings. Printing quality is nice as well.
Pictures of the finished model are shown on one of the box sides. Assembly manual is typical for this brand, and you can check all pages in the video-review.
New M19 should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it comes as a great combo of the parts for impressive result in small scale. Such project might require some previous experience from you, but final look will be worth it. Moreover, I like how Foreart gives us a bit of extra with help of metal parts and PE bits. The only thing that I can think of additionally is the figures set just to show the size of this vehicle. Who knows, maybe in the future releases we will see some 3D Printed tankmen included. :)
