This article will tell you more about Foreart 1/72 Humber Armoured Car Mk.IV (2007). Already well-known brand continues with new-tool releases in small scale, and this time we get a wheeled vehicle. I assembled such type in bigger size, so it will be interesting to see what the new plastic has to offer. As you can guess, dimensions of the finished model won't be big, but Foreart decided to use new molding technology in order to get some unusual design. Packaging is typical for this brand, so frames are packed into several plastic bags. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another wheeled vehicle.

Short history note about this car:
The Humber Armoured Car was a British armored vehicle produced during World War II. Designed as a reconnaissance and anti-tank vehicle, it saw extensive service in various theaters of war.
Developed in response to the need for a more mobile and better-armed armored car, the Humber entered production in 1940. Its distinctive features included a powerful engine, sloped armor for better protection, and a versatile armament that could be adapted to different combat roles.
The Humber proved to be a reliable and effective vehicle, serving with distinction in North Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Its combination of speed, firepower, and protection made it a valuable asset to Allied forces.
Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.
First frame is marked as "A" and carries mix of various parts. Here you will find wheel fenders, some of the pioneer tools and even wheel parts.
It is interesting that those plastic wheels are not complete and more of side walls with rim faces. You can see some details on tire walls.
Second frame comes with "B" designation. That's where interesting stuff starts. As I wrote in the beginning, Foreart decided to go with a big more sophisticated design. Nevertheless, such thing will actually come handy in assembly process.
First of all, drivetrain and suspension comes as one part. Yes, you just need to separate it from supports and it will be ready for installation.
The same applies to hull parts. Such design is definitely faster in assembly and should let you focus on more important things. In the video I show other parts even closer.
Yes, this tiny car will get metal barrel and PE parts. In my opinion it is a great bonus which won't be that difficult to install.
Foreart supplies separate plastic bag with resin wheels. Those look great and should be a noticeable thing on the finished model.
Decals sheet is not that big, but you will find all necessary symbols for several markings. Overall quality looks nice out of the box.
On the side of the box you can see images of the assembled model. Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.
New Humber should be already available for purchase. In my opinion kit looks great straight out of the box. Foreart has managed to include all necessary things, so you just need to assemble them together. I like how this manufacturer uses new technologies in order to bring us something different in terms of design. As for the additional things, I still hope to see some figures in the kit from Foreart, but this is definitely not something what will influence on my final grade of today's kit.
