This article is focused on Vespid Models 1/72 T-90 Tank (VS720025). Set comes as new-tooled product which should be interesting for modelers who would like to copy the famous vehicle. Finished result won't take a lot of space and yet manufacturer promises us a lot of details out of the box. Moreover, There are some additional bonuses included as well. Overall packaging is typical, so frames are packed into separate plastic bags. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another kit of this tank.

Short facts note about the real tank:
The T-90 is a Russian main battle tank that represents a significant evolution of the Soviet T-72 design. Introduced in the early 1990s, it incorporates advanced features such as explosive reactive armor, improved fire control systems, and enhanced night vision capabilities.
The T-90 is equipped with a powerful 125mm smoothbore cannon capable of firing a variety of ammunition, including armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding sabot (APFSDS) rounds, high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) rounds, and laser-guided missiles. It also features a Kontakt-5 explosive reactive armor system to defeat incoming projectiles.
While the T-90 is considered a formidable tank, its development and deployment have been influenced by economic and political factors, leading to various upgrades and variants over the years.
Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.
First frame comes with top hull panel as well as some external elements. In the upper right corner you can see one-piece main gun barrel. It looks okay for standard build, but I would recommend to find metal replacement.
Sprue "B" comes in two pieces, as there are some of the drivetrain parts as well as suspension elements. Note that fuel tank barrel is molded as one-piece element.
Front mudguards are also molded as one-piece parts. Such design should be easier to work with and the final result will look more convincing.
Glacis and rear plates are molded separately and should be installed on the hull. Here you can also see side skirts with plenty of premolded features.
Turret "base" section is molded as one-piece part. Overall quality looks great, but you will have to add many things here. Separate hatches might be useful for some diorama ideas.
Lower hull section is molded as single-piece too. As you remember, rear wall comes as separate part though.
This sprue is also supplied in two pieces because you will find roadwheels and tracks here. I like the overall design and it looks nicely detailed for this size.
3D Printed parts come in the separate plastic bag. On the photo you can notice that there are a lot of small items, so be ready to carefully work with those.
Vespid Models also provides you with two lengths of metal wire. This item should be useful for towing cables on your tank.
PE fret is not that big, but there are a lot of parts to add to the tank. Decals sheet is also small, printing quality looks fine though.
On the photo above you can see pictures of the finished model. Assembly manual is standard and I show all pages in the video-review.
New T-90 should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it comes as a decent set in such a small scale. Moreover, manufacturer provides you with all necessary upgrades for even more details. It looks like a choice for a bit more experienced modelers, but final result should be worth it. The only things to add - metal barrel and some figurines for even more impressive look. Who knows, maybe we will see some tankmen set in the future. :)
