Miniart 1/35 M3 Stuart Light Tank Initial Prod. (35425)

This review will tell you more about Miniart 1/35 M3 Stuart Light Tank Initial Prod. (35425). New version of the tank comes in the same scale, but without interior. Such pattern was also used with previous tank models from the same brand, so it is not surprising. Not all modelers are actually building interior, so it is understandable that Miniart caters to them as well. Packaging is typical here, and all frames are sealed into one plastic bag. Let's open everything and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with first version of this kit.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.

First frame is dedicated to hull panels. Overall design is quite straightforward thanks to the shape of this tank. Lower sprue is dedicated to pioneer tools.

Next we see armament for the turret and some of the hull parts. Note that in some cases you will have to work with tweezers due to parts size.

Jerry cans will be placed on the rear side of the tank. You can see it on the boxart too.

Next we continue with plastic tracks and roadwheels. Both are great to see in such kit even though installation will take some time.

Turret parts can be found on the last frame. Overall quality looks great and you can open some of the hatches.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag in order to avoid possible scratches. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks in the kit.

Unpainted PE fret should be useful for fine features on your model. Decals sheet is printed in Cartograf, so you shouldn't be worried about any quality issues. You can see all marking options on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for Miniart. I show all pages in the video-review.

New tank version should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it might be interesting for modelers who don't plan to work on interior. Moreover, such set should be a bit cheaper what is also good point for some. External details stayed the same, so you still get nice features with some of PE parts in standard package. The only thing to remember is that such kit is definitely not for beginners and you should have some previous experience.
