IBG Models 1/72 PZL P.24A F Fighter in Turkish Service (72553)

Today's article is dedicated to IBG Models 1/72 PZL P.24A F Fighter in Turkish Service (72553). New aircraft model comes with different markings and some of other bonuses inside. While the plastic should be quite similar to what we saw before, it is still interesting to check what is in the box. Packaging is typical for the brand, and frames are separated into several bags. Let's open everything and take a closer look.
By the way, here you can read review with another fighter aircraft in the same scale.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.

First frames are dedicated to wing mechanization, landing gear wheels and propeller. Yes, engine is molded as one-piece part.

Second frame is dedicated to cockpit parts and some of the tail surfaces. Attachment points are thin and easy to cut through.

First pair of fuselage halves are molded together with engine and cowling parts. External features look great and should be easy to keep on your model.

Wing should be glued out of separate panels. As you remember, ailerons are molded as single-piece parts.

AS I was saying there is another pair of fuselage parts in the box. Note one-piece cowling which might be useful for a nice result.

One-piece propeller attachment points will require due care, but I am still glad to see single-piece cowling sections.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality is nice, but you can also use PE and thin film for the canopy.

Kit packs two unpainted PE frets which will be handy for interior and exterior. Thin film, as mentioned, should be useful for canopy on your PZL.

Decals are printed in Techmod, so quality looks great. Here you will find all necessary symbols for four options. Markings can be seen on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. Watch the video if you want to see all assembly pages.

New Turkish PZL should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is an interesting choice for modelers who would like to build some unusual marking in small scale. Moreover, one box brings you all necessary things at once. There are some options for experienced modelers, but even beginners will be able to get a good result out of the box.
Get this and other kits on official IBG Models website.

Pros

  • Nice molding quality
  • Clever parts division
  • PE included
  • Great decals

Cons

  • No masks for clear parts
