This review will tell you more about Rye Field Model 1/35 M1128 MGS Stryker After 2010 (5148). New set copies the famous vehicle in its modern version. Manufacturer promises a lot of features in the standard package as well as some assembly options. Moreover, there are even some bonuses included such as PE parts and 3D-printed barrel. Overall packaging is typical for the brand, so all frames are packed into separate plastic bags. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another modern set in the same scale.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
On the first frame you will find wheel rims as well as some of the suspension parts. Be ready to do few repetitive actions as this is an 8-wheeler vehicle.
This is not an interior set, so all of those separate panels are actually going to be installed on the hull.
Note that wheel axles are molded as single-piece sections. Such design should be easier to work with and will give you the right alignment without any positioning option.
Kit also features jerry cans and some pioneer tools which will be placed on the Stryker.
Turret should be glued out of many parts, but it is nice to see the separate hatches here. Such an option should be handy for figurines placement on your build.
3D-printed barrel should be handy for a finer features on your model build. It is definitely better in comparison with standard plastic one.
Hull panels are molded as one-piece elements. On the photo above you can see the lower section.
Next comes the top one with separately molded hatches and even some of the additional parts in the middle. Surface details look great.
On the photo above you can see dry fitment, and it looks just fine. It works thanks to smart fitment elements which help with proper alignment.
Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks included here.
Vinyl tires come as standard for this kit, but there is also original add-on which will replace them with resin upgrade. Those parts look fine and should be enough for the standard project.
RFM also supplies some metal parts for the suspension. This is definitely better than a typical plastic alternative.
Unpainted PE fret should be handy for some fine features on your Stryker. Decals sheet looks fine and should be easy to work with.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.
New release should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who wanted to build a modern version of 8-wheeler. Box features all the necessary upgrades, and it is just a matter of combining everything together. I like the parts design, while fitment is also nice and won't cause you any trouble. Oh, and also don't forget about additional accessories which can be bought separately. :)
