Miniart 1/35 Fordson Standard N (38091) Build-Review

Today's article will be a build-review with small Miniart 1/35 Fordson Standard N tractor. The plastic kit is relatively fresh, so it was interesting for me to see how it gets together. It is worth noting here that the size of the finished build shouldn't be big, so this is also an attractive feature for me. Overall quality looked great in the box, so let's open everything and assemble the model.
By the way, here you can read review with the kit itself.

Everything start with the chassis or drivetrain which will be holding all other parts together. Assembly is not that difficult, and there are some nice surface features on those parts.

Seat support is quite thin, so be careful while placing it on the chassis. It is not difficult to break over with some extra pressure.

Each wheel fender should be glued out of several parts. Overall design is quite nice as there are special edges which will help you with alignment.

Rear wheels should be glued out of several plastic parts. Final result looks great, and definitely better than vinyl.

Miniart offers instructions on how to use the metal wire in this kit. Final result is definitely worth the extra work, but be sure to have all the necessary tools.

Here you can see example of wire installation on the fuel tank.

Whole assembly doesn't take a lot of time. Be careful with wires, as this part will require due attention.

Fitment is nice in all areas, I don't have anything to complain about here.

Note that my version also uses PE part for license plate.

Don't worry about the wheels, this is a dry fitment on the tractor.

For the paintwork I used ICM colors, as those are quite easy to apply with airbrush. Weathering was done with AK and MiG mediums.

Overall small tractor looks like a fun thing to work on, but as long as you have due patience. Some small parts might be tricky to install, so you will have to calmly place them on the necessary spot. Even bigger challenge is to arrange all the fine wiring, but final look is definitely worth it. Overall quality of the kit is great, so I would recommend it to all experienced modelers who would like to take a break from the military topics. :)
