Miniart 1/48 Junkers-Larsen JL.6 (48007)

This article is focused on Miniart 1/48 Junkers-Larsen JL.6 (48007). New set comes as yet another version of the civil aircraft from the famous manufacturer. It is molded in popular scale and should be interesting for modelers who would like to to build something different from all those military options which we are used to see in the same size. I reviewed previous releases, so it will be nice to check what is new in today's version. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, and all frames come sealed in one plastic bag. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with Mid Prod version of this aircraft.

As some of you might remember, this aircraft kit has quite special panels division which repeats panel lines. On the photo above you can see roof and side panels.

Next is the nose section which has cutouts for the clear parts. There are also some features molded inside.

Landing gear legs might look unusual, but should be quick to assemble together. Note that wheels are offered in two versions, one can be combined with PE rims.

Wing tabs will have to be used for the transports position and overall rigidity. Such an option might be handy for display ideas. Engine is also a nice bonus to have in 1:48 scale kit.

Lower fuselage panel comes with wingroot area. External features are quite generous here, and it might be good to experiment with some weathering.

Cowling should be glued out of several panels. Note that exhaust stacks are premolded and will require careful paintwork.

Wings are quite big, but there are guiding elements to help you with alignment. Miniart gives you two assembly options for Junkers.

Clear frame is molded nicely, but there are no masks included in the kit.

Small PE fret comes as a nice bonus for fine features on your model. Some parts might be too small, so be ready to work with tweezers here.

Decals sheet is quite large, but it is printed in Cartograf, so you don't have to worry about quality issues. There are also interior decals included. All options can be seen on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great option to take a break from all those military builds. Moreover, you will get all necessary things in one box, so the only addition I might think of is the figures set in the same scale.
