This time we are going to talk about Miniart 1/48 Junkers F13 Mid Production (48005). Aircraft kit comes as yet another version of German civil airplane in popular scale. I somehow missed the initial releases, so it will be interesting to check what this kit has to offer. Overall packaging is typical for the brand, so all frames come sealed in one plastic bag. Assembled model will be 200mm long and feature 370.5mm wingspan. Let's open everything and check together.
By the way, here you can read review with P-47 in the same scale.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
First frame comes with top fuselage panel, wing root sections and some tail parts as well. Note how landing gear legs are designed, where you even get two styles of wheels.
External features look great on the fuselage panel, and such design looks unusual. It repeats panel lines, so should be easier to build into good-looking model.
Nose section also features two side panels on the separate sprue. Different types of wing spars will be used depending on which version you would choose to replicate.
Miniart supplies nicely detailed engine in the standard package. It might be worth spending some time in order to get a good-looking result.
More fuselage panels can be found on the separate frame. I like the external features - they look great and deserve a proper paintwork with weathering.
Inside you will also fine some useful features which should help with alignment of parts together.
Cowling is separated into several panels too, but don't worry, it should be easy to combine those together.
Large wing panels look impressive, but the whole division is simple - two parts and separate ailerons. Thin attachment points will make it easier to separate the parts.
Again surface details look great, but it will be important to bring them out with help of painting techniques.
Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality is great, but there are no masks included in the kit.
Unpainted PE fret includes not only seatbelts, but also some parts for landing gear wheels and external features. Those elements are quite tiny, so be ready to work with tweezers.
Decals sheet is not that big, but you will find all necessary symbols there and even interior decals are included. It is printed in Cartograf, so overall quality looks great. You can check all options on the photo below.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.
New aircraft kit is already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who would like to build something different from all those military types we are used to see in the same scale. I like what Miniart did here, and whole design looks a bit more friendly than some other modern aircraft releases. Moreover, you get all necessary bonuses in the box, and the only thing you might need is the masks sheet. It will be interesting to see if the same brand will release figurines for this aircraft, so let's see. :)
