Today I am going to tell you more about Miniart 1/35 7.5cm Pak 40/4 Selbstfahrlafette R50 (35483). New vehicle comes as yet another version, but this time features famous gun inside. This can turn into something interesting, especially if you plan to build diorama. Don't be confused by the figurines on the boxart, those are not included in the box. Nevertheless, you will find plenty of features and several markings here. Assembled model measures 140mm length. Packaging is typical for this brand, so all frames are packed into one plastic bag. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with the previous version in the same scale.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.
First frames feature front cab parts which you won't need, and also track sections. Plastic tracks are always welcome in 1/35 scale, and it should be easy to build those.
More track links can be found on the next sprue type. Roadwheels are molded as one-piece elements and should be easy to install on the model.
Drivetrain should be assembled out of several parts, task will be a bit tedious, but final result should look nice.
Floor panels for today's version come on the next sprue. Gun will be installed on the special circular support.
Panels feature some premolded features which might be worth bringing out on your model.
PAK 40 comes on several frames. Here you can see armor panels as well as anti-recoil legs. Small parts look great, but be sure to have tweezers to get everything into the right spots.
Main gun barrel is molded as one-piece element. Muzzle break comes in several versions because you can replicate combat and transport positions.
Yes, engine is included here, and it might be worth spending some time to get a nice result.
Interior will be visible on the finished model, and there are plenty of opportunities to play with paintwork and weathering. Molding quality looks great.
Miniart separated hull panels into several parts, but be sure to check the alignment.
Kit also features unpainted PE fret for some fine features on your model. This thing is always welcome for 1/35 model.
Decals are printed in Cartograf, so quality looks great. There are four marking options and you can see them on the photo below.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.
New kit should be already available, and in my opinion this is very unusual subject to replicate. Out of the box you get all necessary parts, but whole set is more for experienced modelers due to the size of some elements. Marking options look great and give you a chance to play with weathering. It might be also a good idea to get some figurines to place inside for even better look.
