ICM 1/48 RAF Pilots in Tropical Uniforms (48080)

This review is dedicated to ICM 1/48 RAF Pilots in Tropical Uniforms (48080). As the name suggests, such set will be useful for some kind of diorama project. Just add a stand and aircraft, and you will have a nice result. Previous ICM figures looked good even in this smaller scale, so it will be interesting to see what is here. There are 31 parts for assembly of five figures. All of them are packed into one plastic bag. Let's open this box and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another pilots set in the same scale.

One and only plastic frame carries all necessary parts for all figures. Overall design is typical for what we are used to see in 1/35 scale. Molding quality looks great, but there are no guiding pins for easier alignment. Moreover, all poses are predefined, and there are no alternative options. Assembly manual and marking guide are combined into one and printed in color.

Today's figures should be already available for purchase. While boxart on the box hints on one famous British aircraft recently released by ICM, you can use those guys also with some other airplane. Overall quality look nice, and I think such addition will definitely come handy in order to show the real life size of the fighter or bomber. The only thing that I am still hoping to see in such kits is the choice of alternative poses, at least one per figure would be cool to have.
