IBG Models 1/72 Carro Comando M13/40 with 8mm Guns (72129)

In this article we are going to talk about IBG Models 1/72 Carro Comando M13/40 with 8mm Guns (72129). New release comes in tiny scale and offers a chance to copy unusual Italian vehicle. Previous releases from this brand proved to be great even in such small dimensions, so it will be interesting to see what is offered here. Packaging is typical, you will find several ziplock bags inside. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with Zrinyi kit in the same scale.

Tracks are molded as single-piece part together with drivetrain parts. Such design should be easier to work with.

Rear engine panel is molded as single-part as well. Attachment points are placed on the edges.

Lower hull section comes on the next frame. Again it is molded as one-piece part and this will speed up the assembly process.

Superstructure comes on another sprue. Large plate will be used in hull assembly. Hatch parts are separate, but keep in mind that there is nothing to show inside.

There are two engine covers in the package, here you can see the second version.

Drivetrain boggies are also one-piece and such design will be less fiddly in 1/72 scale. Sharp tweezers still will be handy for some of the elements.

Tracks design also has influence on drive sprockets. Be sure to check the fitments, so that everything looks like on the real thing.

Unpainted PE fret in this scale might be a lot of fun to work with. Nevertheless, final result will be worth it. Decals are printed by Techmod, so you don't have to worry about printing quality. You can see all markings on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New tiny kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it should be quite fun to build thanks to smart design. Nevertheless, this is definitely not a kit for beginners, as the size will require certain skills and tools. Moreover, PE in 1/72 scale is definitely not an easy thing, so be ready for such small challenge. Assembled model won't be huge, but final result would look impressive.
