I promised to check more small kits, so here is another one - Zvezda 1/100 Nashorn (6291). New set copies the famous German tank destroyer. It is usually quite imposing in 1/35 scale, so now you get a chance to assemble the smaller copy. Keep in mind that whole kit is snap-fit and can be built without glue. There are 20 parts which should assemble into a model with 11.1cm length. This size sounds impressive for such scale, so it will be interesting to see what is supplied inside. Let's open the tiny box and take a look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another German vehicle in the same scale.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.
There are only two frames in the kit. On the first one you will find drivetrain parts as well as armor panels and some of the interior bits. Weird part on the right side should serve as main "support" for all parts around it.
Scale of this model might look tiny, but there are still a lot of features premolded. It would be a good idea to pick them out with help of washes and additional weathering.
Rear side of the box shows unpainted model, so I would recommend to get some reference material. Assembly manual is typical for Zvezda, you can check all pages in the video-review.
New Nashorn should be already available for purchase. In my opinion such kits offer a good chance to build something during the weekend and enjoy the final result of your work. Moreover, snap fit makes it suitable for younger modelers too. The only thing that would be nice to see here is the decals and maybe some marking options. Who knows, maybe we will see it in the next releases.
THANK YOU FOR DONATIONS WHICH MADE THIS REVIEW POSSIBLE!Pros
