This review is fully dedicated to Tamiya 1/12 Ducati Superleggera V4 with Racing Kit (143). As you can guess from the name, kit brings us another copy of the famous Italian motorcycle. I reviewed the previous version, but today's model offers a bit more sophisticated edition. Racing Kit includes new exhaust and clutch cover. Sound should be amazing with all those things installed, but unfortunately it is not included in the box. :) Overall packaging is typical for manufacturer, so all frames are packed into separate plastic bag. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with the previous version in the same scale.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
We are going to start with the grey frame which carries mix of various parts. As you can notice, whole engine will have to be assembled out of several parts.
Surface features look great on the whole powerplant, so it might be worth spending some time on paintwork.
Exhaust parts are molded in black color. Overall design is as complex as on the real bike because engineers had to fit everything around the engine.
Vinyl tires are not surprising in this kit. They look okay for the standard project.
Another black frame comes with wheel rims and rear swingarm. Both wheels look great and deserve a nice paintwork.
Note that brake rotors have throughout holes, and you won't have to drill anything by yourself. Calipers are molded separately, what should help you avoid unnecessary masking.
Frame should be assembled out of several sections, surface details look great on them. There are large guiding elements which will help you with alignment.
White plastic brings us cowling panels and motorcycle stand. Note that even seat is molded in the same color.
Panel lines and features look great on those large sections, just be sure not to overdo the the primer and paint layers.
Clear frame comes in its own bag and features all necessary transparent parts. Molding quality is nice, but there are only few masking stickers supplied.
I think those will be useful for the headlamps, note that Tamiya provides spares as well.
Kit features two decals sheets. Both are looking fine, and on the big one you will find all necessary sections for the cowling panels.
Small decals sheet should be handy for various small symbols on your model. Note that even some rivets are copied here.
This picture shows the main upgrades of the Racing Kit on the bike.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. You can check all pages in the video-review.
New Ducati version should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for all fans of Italian motorcycles. One box contains all the necessary parts for a nice build. Moreover, you can experiment with color combinations for even better look. I guess there will be also some aftermarket, but considering the features here, it is not clear whether you should get some additions.
