This review will tell you more about ICM 1/32 Hs 123A Legion Condor (32016). As you can guess from the name and boxart, plastic copies German biplane in large scale. Overall it looks like an interesting project for those who would like to copy one of the famous fighters from Legion Condor. Somehow my brain thought that I reviewed this kit already, but it looks like the plastic is completely fresh and should come out in several versions at the same time. Overall packaging is typical for the brand, so all parts come in one plastic bag. There are 193 parts which should assemble into a model with 330mm wingspan. Let's open all frames and check everything together.
By the way, here you can read review with handy book for this aircraft.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.
First we start with fuselage parts which come on its own sprue. Overall design is standard for such parts, so both halves are molded together with tail fin. Note also top cowling cover which is made as one-piece.
Both wings are separated into three panels. Here you can see the bottom wing, and it might be worth noting the guiding slots for wing struts.
This frame comes in two pieces as it carries armament and landing gear parts. All of those look fine for 1/32 scale aircraft.
Kit also features a lot of small parts, so be ready to work with them around various areas. Molding quality looks great, just like in other modern ICM sets.
All mechanization is molded on the separate sprue and should be glued out of two halves. There are guiding pins inside which will help you with alignment.
I am glad to see that ICM decided to play it fair and include nicely detailed engine in the standard package. In my opinion this is very important feature which can be exposed on the finished model.
Last grey plastic parts are two halves for the top wing. As you remember, ailerons are molded separately here.
Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, and there is a masking template in the assembly manual.
Decals sheet is not that big, but features all necessary symbols. Printing quality looks great, and there are some cockpit decals too. All three options can be seen on the photo below.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.
Today's biplane should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is an interesting choice for modelers who are tired from all those Bf 109 and others being constantly re-released by various brands. Here you can expect a nice quality together with clever design which should be easy to work with. Moreover, I have no doubt that we will see some aftermarket in the future, and you will be able to add more if you would like to.
