ICM 1/32 DH.82A Tiger Moth (32019)

This time I have a chance to tell you more about ICM 1/32 DH.82A Tiger Moth (32019). New kit comes with some bright markings which should look great on the finished build. I reviewed the previous releases, and they offered a good quality out of the box. New one will come with five markings and the same great plastic inside. Overall packaging is typical, all frames come in one plastic bag. There are 93 parts which should assemble into a model with 280mm wingspan. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with combo-set featuring the same aircraft.

As you can guess, small parts count doesn't require a lot of sprues. On the first one you will find fuselage halves as well as wing parts.

Interior features are also present and should be visible on the finished model. Note that there are also guiding elements which will help you with alignment.

Landing gear is nicely copied out of the box, just be sure to check the alignment of the parts. Cockpit should be rather simple, but this is how is the real aircraft looks like.

Wings should be assembled out of several parts. Note that fuel tank on top will be installed as separate part.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, and ICM provides masking templates for those parts.

Decals sheet is not that big, but you get all necessary symbols for five options. Printing quality looks okay, and you can see all markings on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. You can check all pages in the video-review.

New Tiger Moth release should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for those who would like to build something in big scale, but don't want to deal with large models. Overall quality looks great, so you can get a nice result even in the standard build. Nevertheless, there is also aftermarket available, and it might help you get even more out of today's plastic. :)
