Miniart 1/35 T-55AL Enigma (37095)

Today I am going to tell you more about Miniart 1/35 T-55AL Enigma (37095). New tank kit comes as yet another version of the famous Soviet-made giant. Note that today's version is without interior, what might be a bit more attractive for some modelers. Nevertheless, even external features on this kit are quite crazy in a good sense, and it might be worth checking everything closer. Overall packaging is typical for this brand. Let's open all those bags and take a look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another tank in the same scale.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.

On the first frames we can see external armor panels and the new turret part. It is nice to have balance support molded in one-piece as such design would be more precise.

Absence of interior might make some modelers happy, but don't be too fast here. As you can see on the photos, kit is still full of tiny parts, and you will have to be careful with them.

Main barrel is molded as one-piece element. All hatches are separate, and this feature can be useful for figurines placement.

Drivetrain will be also quite detailed, but suspension is not movable. Note that drive sprockets have attachment points in between teeth.

Engine bay hatches are also separate, but keep in mind that there is no engine included. Miniart offers it as a separate kit, what might be useful for some projects.

Another Enigma-specific sprue comes with armor panels and also counterweight bits. Whole assembly should be worth to properly paint and weather.

Separate track links in such kit is definitely a huge advantage. Nevertheless, be ready that assembly will definitely take some time.

There are some interior parts here, but they will not be used and can go straight to spare parts box.

Lower hull section should be glued out of separate panels. Yes, escape hatches are also installed separately and can be handy for some diorama ideas.

Another turret panel will not be used in today's version. It might be handy for some scratch-building ideas though.

Each fuel tank should be glued out separate parts. Roadwheels have nice external features, and with careful look you would even see the rubber manufacturer logo.

Last grey sprue carries hull panels. Be careful with thin turret parts as those are quite easy to break during separation.

Unpainted PE fret carries small parts too, and you might need tweezers to get those in place.

Clear parts look great, but there are no masks included. You can see both marking options on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

Today's Enigma should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it might be a nice choice for modelers who already have some experience with such kits. Overall quality looks great, but assembly process will definitely take some time. I would recommend to add some figurines for even more interesting look, but overall there are not that many things you can add on top of standard package. :)
