Miniart 1/72 StuG III Ausf.G Mar 1943 Alkett Prod. (72105)

This time we are going to check Miniart 1/72 StuG III Ausf.G Mar 1943 Alkett Prod. (72105). As you can guess, we get yet another small scale release from the famous brand. I reviewed the previous version already and even assembled it. Small plastic proved to be nice to work with, so it will be interesting to see what the new version has to offer. Packaging is typical, so all frames come in one plastic bag. Let's open them and take a look.
By the way, here you can read report with building the previous version.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.

First frame is the biggest one and carries mix of various parts. Here you will find separate panels for the superstructure.

Plastic tracks can be considered as big advantage of this kit as such thing looks way more realistic on the model. Rear panel should be glued out of several parts.

Lower hull section should be glued out of separate panels. Overall design is clever and there are guiding elements which will help you with alignment.

Drivetrain parts look good out of the box. Miniart also managed to mold in some features on the tire walls, what is impressive in this size.

Of course, there will be a lot of small parts, so be ready to work with tweezers. It is also good to have metal wire ready as it will be needed in several spots.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks nice, but there are no masks included. PE fret is easy to deal with as long as you have the necessary tools. Decals sheet is printed in Cartograf, and easy to apply on the model. You can see four out of five markings on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New tiny StuG should be already available for purchase. In one box you will get a great kit which assembles into a nice model without any extra effort. I can say that Miniart did a great job here, and all fans of this scale will be happy to see such model. Moreover, even in small scale you can play with weathering, and also try to build some diorama. :)
