Arma Hobby 1/72 P-400 Airacobra (70057)

This time we have a chance to talk about Arma Hobby 1/72 P-400 Airacobra (70057). New aircraft kit comes as yet another version of the famous fighter in small scale. Note also small sign which hints on 3D-printed parts included in the box. We reviewed previous releases of this kit, so it will be interesting to see what is new here. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, and all frames come in one plastic bag. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with previous Airacobra from the same brand.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.

First frame is dedicated to mix of various parts, what is not surprising in this scale. Both fuselage halves are molded without tail fin and feature nice external details.

All other parts fit on the second frame. Here you will find lower wing half with premolded flaps and ailerons. Note also nice tailwing and fuel tank.

External details here look great out of the box, just try not to lose them under layer of primer and paint.

3D-printed parts are represented with cowling panel which will be necessary for copying this particular version of the aircraft.

I like that Arma Hobby provides metal weights in the original package. Those things will come handy for a stable model.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag in order to avoid possible damage. Molding quality looks great, and doors are separate here.

Pre-cut masks will come handy not only for clear parts, but also for landing gear wheels.

Decals are printed in Techmod, so you don't have to worry about possible issues. There are also stencils and cockpit decals included. You can see all three markings on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New release should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is as good as the previous versions, and will be fun to assemble. The only thing required from you is the good eyesight to see all those tiny parts. :) Note that there are a lot of features provided out of the box, but you can also find some aftermarket for even better details.
