ICM 1/48 Bristol Beaufort Mk.IA with RAF Pilots (48313)

This article is dedicated to ICM 1/48 Bristol Beaufort Mk.IA with RAF Pilots (48313). Kit comes as combo-release from the famous brand. Some of you might notice that we already reviewed those products separately, but now we get them in one box. Packaging is typical for ICM, so all frames come in several bags. There are 240 parts which should assemble into a model with 368 mm wingspan, and also 30 parts for pilot figures. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another aircraft in similar scale.

We are going to start with pilot figures. Those come on one plastic sprue. Overall design is typical for this scale, and there are no guiding elements for separate parts.

Each side of the wing should be glued out of two halves. Note that wing mechanization is molded separately.

Both fuselage halves are molded with tail fin, but without rudder. External features look fine, but try not to lose them under layer of primer and paint.

It is nice to see both engines included out of the box. Those look great, and it might be worth exposing at least one.

Yes, torpedo is also included together with special cart. You can display it near aircraft for even more interesting look.

Engine cowlings should be glued out of two halves. There are guiding pins which would help you with this.

Machine gun looks fine out of the box, but I know some modelers who managed to find metal barrel for this.

Last frame is quite large. Here you will find wide spar which is supposed to hold the wing in place, but I would rather add some metal rod for extra rigidity.

Clear frame is packed into separate bag in order to avoid damage. Molding quality looks great, and you will find masking guide in the assembly manual.

Decals sheet is not that big, but you will find all necessary symbols here. Assembly manuals are typical for this brand, and I show all pages in the video-review.

New kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is an attractive offer for modelers who would like to get all things at once. Overall quality looks great, and there is some aftermarket available from different brands. The only thing you might need - airfield base in order to place all of those sets together. :)
