Miniart 1/35 1.5t 4X4 G506 Cargo Truck (38064)

This time we have a chance to check Miniart 1/35 1.5t 4X4 G506 Cargo Truck (38064). New release comes as yet another version of the truck model in popular scale. Moreover, just like the previous variants, this one features nice interior out of the box. Whole kit is nicely detailed and should be interesting to work with, but you need to be aware of parts count here as well. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, everything is sealed into bags. Let's open these frames and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another version of this truck.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.

We are going to start with the biggest frame. Here you will find mix of various parts - from interior bits up to some suspension elements.

Front cab is assembled out of separate panels. There are guiding elements inside which should help you with overall alignment here.

Doors and windscreen frame are separate here and can be assembled in open position. Moreover, you can copy rolled down windows on the doors. :)

Miniart also includes some alternative parts, so pay attention to which one should be used in your build. Overall molding quality looks great on all parts.

I am glad to see plastic wheels here. Those should look more convincing and also should be easier to paint and weather.

Cab interior will have a lot of things too, so be ready to dedicate some time to weathering and painting. Note also special templates for PE parts on the photo above.

Chassis bars come on the separate frame. Yes, there is also a plastic version of the front grille in case you don't want to work with PE.

Rear section should be glued out of separate panels. There is no wood texture, but it can be considered as a good opportunity to play with weathering here.

Decals sheet comes from Cartograf and should be easy to work with. There are some interior decals included too.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Overall molding quality looks great, but there are no masks in the kit.

PE fret is supplied in the special envelope. Unpainted parts will come handy for interior and exterior features.

On the photo above you can see all six markings which are included in the kit. Assemble manual is typical for Miniart and I show all pages in the video-review.

New truck should be already available and it looks as good as the previous releases. Out of the box you can expect a lot of features, what might be more than enough for some modelers. Moreover, there are different assembly options too, so you can use the kit for diorama project too. I wouldn't recommend the set for beginners due to large count of thin and small parts as well as PE elements. Nevertheless, with some experience you should be able to get a good-looking cargo truck in popular scale. :)
