Miniart 1/35 German Tank Riders Set 2 (35377)

Diorama figures are always handy and that's why today we are going to talk about Miniart 1/35 German Tank Riders Set 2 (35377). Kit comes as yet another offering from Miniart which might be handy for diorama project. We reviewed set with Soviet soldiers in the same position, but now we get four guys for some Tiger or Panther. Basic idea is still the same, you can place those soldiers on top of your model, and such thing useful in order to give a sense of the vehicle size, or just to add a bit more life to the project. Packaging is typical here, so all frames come sealed in plastic bag. Let's open it and take a closer look together.

First three figures come on interconnected frames. Parts division is typical for this scale, so you won't find something unusual here. Molding quality looks fine, even though some parts might have a tiny amount of flash.

Another figurine can be found on the separate frame. All poses are predefined, but I don't think it will be difficult to place one of those soldiers on top of the tank.

It is really great to see various equipment included in the standard package. As you can guess, it is nearly impossible to use everything at once, so some of those things will go into your spare parts box.

Surprising to see big choice of various weapons included here. Assembly manual on the photo below might suggest certain types of rifles with figures, but I think it will be easy to exchange those for something different.

Whole idea might sound simple, but what we get out of the box is really impressive here. Miniart decided to go a bit beyond simple figures set and also included various accessories and weapons in the same scale. In my opinion it compensates lack of alternative positions for soldiers. Moreover, you will have some extras left, and you can also leave aside some figures for the next project. All this sounds nice, but be ready to work on camouflage on these soldiers. This part might be really tricky in 1/35 scale. :)
