Eduard 1/48 A6M3 Cockpit (648800)

This time I am ready to tell you more about Eduard 1/48 A6M3 Cockpit (648800). Fresh add-on is parted of so-called PRINT series, what means that whole set was made with help of 3D printing technology. Such thing allows manufacturer to get even more complex parts and more features out of the box. As you can guess, all those things are extra useful when we are talking about aircraft cockpit. Packaging styling is typical here, so let's open this box and check everything together.

We are going to start with PE for this kit. There are plenty of things copied with help of metal parts, but instrument panel is not in this list. Yes, you will have to copy all the dials with decals and resin part.

Next we see some of the control elements as well as the instrument panel. All of them are basically ready to be used once you cut them off the base.

Some parts are very thin and will require due care during installation. Maybe it is also a good idea to paint some on the base and then separate them.

"Base" part for the cockpit comes as single-piece part and looks impressive in person. I recommend to watch the video-review where I show it from more angles. You will also see there the assembly manual for the whole set.

New cockpit comes out together with aircraft model where it can be used. In my opinion it is a must have for all modelers who would like to expose the cabin and have more features there. Some things will require due care, but overall this set looks pretty impressive and deserves and nice paintwork with weathering. Just like other Brassin sets, this one is so great that it might push you to get other things for the same model. :)
