ICM 1/35 Laffly (f) typ V15T (35573)

This time we are going to talk about ICM 1/35 Laffly (f) typ V15T (35573). New vehicle comes as yet another version of the French offroader in popular scale. Fresh release carries German markings for this car, what might be interesting for some modelers. Packaging is typical for ICM, so all parts arrived intact. There are 211 parts which should assemble into a model with 128mm length. Let's open the box and check them together.

First sprue is notable for one-piece chasis frame which can be seen in the right side. Such design will help you get the right fitment without unnecessary fitting of separate bits.

This kit features vinyl tires, so we get plastic wheel rims on the separate frame. Note that front wheels should be glued out of two halves.

Bonnet can be assembled only in shut position unless you are ready to cut it. Note also many small parts which will require some due care.

Car body is separated into several panels. Such design should be easy to work with, and there are guiding elements inside. Windscreen is molded together with wipers.

Vinyl tires are typical, so there is nothing to look at. I would recommend to get a resin replacement instead.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag and features four parts. Decals sheet looks fine, all markings can be seen on the photo below.

New kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it might be an interesting project for modelers who are tired from the typical subjects and they want to build something new and different. Moreover, ICM packed a lot of features out of the box, so there is plenty of space to play with weathering and paiinting. The only thing that might come handy - figures to place inside the car. Such addition would make whole project even more convincing.
