This review is dedicated to Special Hobby 1/32 AH-1G Cobra Early Tails over Nam (SH32082). Kit comes as combo-set from the famous Czech model manufacturer. Big scale actually hints that the plastic was supplied by ICM as they recently issued such helicopter model. Original plastic proved to be nice, but Special Hobby decided to raise the bar and add more things which will make your model impressive. We somehow reviewed the latter kit first, so now comes the version which came out as the first release of such plastic. Packaging is typical here, let's open the box and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with the smaller kit if this one is too big for you.

Watch this video where I show parts even closer.
We are going to start with fuselage parts. Tail fin section should be assembled separately, such design makes it easier to vary between versions.
Original ICM kit features separately molded lower fuselage panel. Such design should help you avoid unnecessary gaps in the bottom section.
Main rotor blades should be glued out of two halves each. There are guiding pins which should help you with alignment.
Armament sprue is full of different parts, but not all of them will be used. Special Hobby provides resin replacements which offer even more features.
Clear frame comes in the separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, and you can see set of pre-cut masks on the photo below.
Amount of resin parts here is truly impressive. A lot of areas will be upgraded with help of those components, and it is really good for 1/32 scale model.
Just like all these parts weren't enough, Special Hobby also included 3D-Printed parts for the cockpit. They are printed on the same base, so be careful while separating them.
Next we see three PE frets together with clear film. As you can guess, prepainted parts will be handy in the cockpit.
All decals surprisingly fit into one decals sheet. Printing quality looks great and should be easy to work with.
Here you can take a look at all bonuses in 3D. I have to note that packaging design is well-thought and that's why all components arrived intact.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. You can check all pages in the video-review.
Today's kit comes as Limited Edition, so it is better to hurry if you want to get one. In my opinion we get here a truly great combo in large scale. Moreover, all upgrades make sense and should add more features to such a bit project. Of course, this is definitely not the right choice for beginners who would like to have a helicopter. Multimedia kits are usually aimed at experienced modelers, so that they will be able to work with all the stuff supplied in the box.
