Eduard 1/48 P-51K Profipack (82105)

This article is dedicated to Eduard 1/48 P-51K Profipack (82105). As you can guess, we get another version of the famous US fighter aircraft in popular scale. Moreover, it comes as Profipack, so there are some useful bonuses inside. Packaging is typical for this brand, box comes in the new styling. Let's open it and take a closer look together.

We are going to start with big frame which should be familiar to some of you because it was included in the previous versions. Here you can see fuel tanks and rocket launchers.

Next you will find parts for landing gear and wheel wells. Everything looks nice and just requires a careful assembly.

Cockpit should be assembled out of separate panels. Moreover, we have Profipack here, so there will be also some PE parts installed. You can also replace whole cockpit with Brassin set.

Another set of fuel tanks which can be placed under wings on your Mustang.

Both fuselage halves are molded together with tail fin and top cowling panel. You will have to be careful in the nose area for a nice connection between two parts.

Wing design is typical, all mechanization parts are molded separately. External features look nice and include recessed panel lines with rivets.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, masks can be seen on the photo below.

PE fret is a traditional bonus for Profipack and it will be handy for external and internal details.

Kit features two decal sheets with all necessary symbols for six markings. Printing quality looks great and there is a segmentation used. You can see all camouflages on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New Mustang comes as something what we expected to see, but it is nice to get another version of the famous US fighter aircraft. Profipack edition makes it even more attractive because there are all necessary things in one box. Moreover, Eduard offers impressive choice of original accessories and that might be a good thing for modelers who try to get even more in their project.
