Special Hobby 1/72 SIAI-Marchetti SF-260EA/D/EU Late Bulged Canopy (SH72433)

This time we are going to talk about Special Hobby 1/72 SIAI-Marchetti SF-260EA/D/EU Late Bulged Canopy (SH72433). As you can guess from its name, new release will let us copy a new version of the small Italian aircraft. Moreover, it is molded in 1/72 scale, so finished model won't take a lot of space. We reviewed previous release too, and you can find article with video on our website and YouTube channel. As for today's version, it comes in nice box with beautiful boxart. All frames are packed into the same plastic bag. Let's open them and take a closer look together.

We are going to start with sprue which is dedicated to fuselage halves and wing. Note that one of the halves come with tail fin, which would serve as a guiding element during assembly. Wing is molded as single-piece part, ailerons and flaps are fixed.

Next sprue comes with mix of various parts. Here you will find two versions of the front cowling section - choice will depend on the marking option you pick for your build.

Last grey plastic sprue carries various minor parts. Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag and molding quality looks fine. Note that masks should be bought separately. Small PE fret features only two parts.

Decals sheet features all necessary symbols for four marking options. Printing quality looks great and there are some cockpit decals included. All markings can be seen on the photo below.

Small aircraft should be available for purchase from today. In one box you will get all necessary parts for a nice build. In my opinion such kit can be recommended even for beginners if they will get masks set. Camouflages look good too, so I am sure you will find something interesting. The only thing which would be cool to see - openable canopy, but scale is small, so I guess it is ok for such size.
