This review will tell you more about ICM 1/35 Miracle on the Marne (DS3530). As the boxart suggests, this kit mixes several kits into one battlefield scene. Packaging is surprisingly big, but this is not a surprise as there are five sets in one box. In total there are 186 parts for four figurines of German Infantry, 209 parts for German MG Team, 127 parts for five figures of French Infantry, 117 parts for four figures of British Infantry, 117 parts for British MG Vickers Crew. Let's open everything and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with a nice vehicle kit from the same time.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
We are going to start with equipment. This comes as standard sprue, and you can choose what you would like to use with your soldiers.
Figures parts division is typical for this scale, so you get one-piece torso, separate legs and hands. All poses are pre-defined of course.
Here you can see more equipment and weapons. Overall molding quality looks fine, ICM did a great job here.
Some of the soldiers also get backpacks and helmets on the same sprue, but you can try to pick some different combination of items.
Machine gun can be assembled in two positions, so be sure to decide in advance which one do you prefer.
Surface features on soldiers look great out of the box. As you can guess, all poses are predefined, so you won't be able to change much here.
I like the fact that the kit is quite rich on various items, this will be useful for some build ideas. Well, it can also go into your spare parts box too. :)
All of those figurines are molded without guiding elements, and it is important to carefully align parts for a more convincing appearance.
Another machine gun also comes on its own frame. Parts division looks good, but be sure to plan the paintwork before assembly.
Last grey sprue features MG Team soldiers. Note that attachment points are quite thin and should be easy to cut through.
On the photo above you can see markings for each of sets. Assembly manuals are typical for ICM, and I show all pages in the video-review.
Today's large set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who are brave enough to build large diorama project. All sets look good out of the box, and you only need to carefully get everything together. There are no special bonuses for this set, but overall combo should be enough for WW1 builder to have some unusual scene in scale. I have to say that be sure to have some references, because it will help you with paintwork.
