ICM 1/48 BQM-34A (Q-2C) Firebee with Trailer (48401)

Today we are going to talk about ICM 1/48 BQM-34A (Q-2C) Firebee with Trailer (48081). This is a new unmanned aircraft kit from the famous brand. Moreover, it comes in popular scale, what might come handy for some diorama. Note that we have the second release here, while first one copied the early version. Packaging is typical, all frames come in the same plastic bag. There are 36 parts inside which should assemble into aircraft and trailer.

First frame is dedicated to aircraft parts. Here you will find fuselage halves as well as wings. Both look great and feature recessed panel lines.

Первая рамка выделена под детали самолёта. Здесь вы найдёте половины фюзеляжа, а также крыло. Всё выглядит отлично, есть внутренняя расшивка.

Inside you will find guiding pins which should come handy during assembly. Attachment points are thin enough in order to carefully cut them.

Внутри есть направляющие, которые точно пригодятся при сборке. Точки крепления достаточно тонки и не доставят проблем.

Trailer parts come on the separate frame. This part of the kit is really useful for displaying the assembled aircraft unless you plan to show it in flight.

Детали для трейлера разместились на отдельной рамке. Эта часть набора пригодится для демонстрации собранной модели.

Decals sheet comes in nice quality and features all necessary symbols for four markings. You can see them on the photo below.

New Firebee should be already available for purchase. In one box you will get a decent plastic with nice external features. It should be relatively simple to assemble and ICM included nice choice of marking options. Yes, there are some areas which will require due care, but I don't think it will be difficult to solve.

Новый летательный аппарат уже должен быть в продаже. В одной коробке вы получите аккуратный пластик с хорошей внешней проработкой. Сборка не доставит особых проблем, да и варианты окраски неплохи. Да, есть некоторые нюансы, которые потребуют аккуратности, но я не думаю, что они будут сложными в работе.
