Special Hobby 1/72 Mirage Duo Pack (SH72414)

Today we are going to talk about Special Hobby 1/72 Mirage Duo Pack (SH72414). This is a special release from the well-known Czech brand. As you can guess from the name, one box combines two jet aircraft kits plus there is a special publication dedicated to Mirage. All this sounds like an interesting combo. Packaging is typical here, so let's open it and take a closer look together.

We are going to start with the frame which is dedicated to various armament. Here you will find missiles and external fuel tanks. It is cool to see these things included out of the box.

Next we continue with mix of various parts. Special Hobby molded there seat elements, landing gear wheels and even pylons.

Wings parts division is quite interesting because it will help you keep the clean joint between parts. Tailwings come as single-piece parts.

Nose cone should be glued out of two halves. Well, it would be better to see one-piece element here...

Both fuselage halves come on the separate frame. Note that both are molded without tail fin, but with nose section.

Last grey plastic frame is dedicated to one-piece tail fin part.

Clear frame looks fine and carries part for the canopy too. Note that you can open cockpit on your model. Masks are not included here.

Nevertheless, today's kit features resin parts as well the small PE fret. These should come handy for a fine detailing of your Mirage model.

There are several decals sheets included. All three are printed in Cartograf, so there is nothing to worry about.

Some of the elements can be even replicated with masks if you would like to. On the photo below you can see special book, which comes as a bonus for today's set.

This kit should be already available for purchase. Nevertheless, it is a limited edition, so you better hurry if you want to add one into your collection. I like the overall idea of such package, all these accessories and book would be handy for a detailed build. Nevertheless, you can add even more by buying separate CMK accessories. Small scale might be tricky for some, but final result should be definitely worth it.
