Eduard 1/48 Sea Harrier FRS.1 Kinetic (BIG49155)

Today I am going to tell you more about Eduard 1/48 Sea Harrier FRS.1 Kinetic (BIG49155). This set comes as yet another classic collection of add-ons from Czech manufacturer. As you can notice on the main photo, one set will bring you Interior, Exterior PE and masks for the canopy. All this might come handy for modelers who would like to get a better result on their build. Overall packaging is typical - cardboard envelope with accessories inside. Let's open it and check everything together.

Let's start with exterior set. I am showing the manual first as there is plenty of red color areas which mean that you should be ready to cut original plastic.

Unpainted PE fret is a typical product for Eduard, so you don't have to worry about possible quality problems.

Next one is an interior PE set. Here again some of the plastic will have to be slightly modified, but final result should be worth it. On the manual you can see that a lot of parts will be used for pilot seat.

Set features two PE frets - one unpainted and one prepainted plus clear film for the target sight. All those parts for the instrument panel look way better than standard plastic.

Masks are typical for this brand. They will cover canopy and also landing gear wheel. Note that for the canopy main section you will need liquid masks as well.

Yes, all those sets which I just shown can be bought separately, but Big Ed helps you to save a bit. Moreover, you don't have to search for them separately as everything comes in one envelope. In my opinion it is definitely not a set for beginners, but with some work you can get really nice result in 1/48 scale.
