This article will tell you more about Miniart 1/35 Australian Stuart Mk.I (35437). New tank comes as yet another offering from the famous brand. I reviewed the previous releases, so it will be interesting to see what is new here. First thing that easy to notice - new set is not an interior kit, and some modelers would have more time to focus on external bits. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, so all frames are sealed into one plastic bag. Let's open it and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with interior kit in slightly different version.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
First large frame comes with hull panels. Those should be combined together with help of guiding elements inside. Note also roadwheels and suspension parts on the lower frame.
Next we see plastic track lengths. Such design should be easier to paint and weather on your tank, so this is definitely a welcome addition.
Turret top section comes as one-piece element. All hatches are molded separately and can be opened if needed.
Tools are supplied in two versions - with clamps or without them. This feature should be handy for some diorama ideas.
Kit is full of tiny parts, so be ready to work with tweezers. Moreover, in some cases you will have to plan the paintwork in advance.
Molding quality looks great even on the smallest parts, so just be sure to carefully separate those.
Turret should be nicely detailed inside as well. Such a thing will come in handy if you plan to open one of the hatches.
Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks included.
Unpainted PE fret should be useful for some fine features on your tank.
Decals are printed in Cartograf, so you don't have to worry about the quality. All three options can be seen on the photo below.
Assembly manual is typical for Miniart. I show all pages in the video-review.
New set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who would like to have their own copy of the famous Stuart. It is as good as the previous versions, but at the same time you can also play a bit with external features. For some modelers it will be a good news to find out that there is no interior included here. Moreover, I like that Miniart still includes some bonuses in form of PE.
