Miniart 1/35 3t Cargo Truck with MG151/20 Drilling (53055)

This time we are going to talk about Miniart 1/35 3t Cargo Truck with MG151/20 Drilling (53055). Kit comes as yet another version of the famous German truck in popular scale. I reviewed some of the previous releases, so it will be interesting to see what is new here. The main difference can be guessed from the name - it is a pair of guns in the back, which make the whole build quite noticeable. Moreover, you will be given some assembly options too, so it can turn into interesting diorama project. Overall packaging is typical, and all frames come sealed in one plastic bag. Let's open everything and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another truck kit in the same scale.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.

First frames are not that big and carry stowage boxes and jerry cans. Those items should be useful for making your vehicle a bit more interesting in appearance.

Plastic wheels is a very good thing to have in the package. Such parts should be easier to paint and weather for realistic appearance.

Drivetrain of the truck should be nicely detailed, and it includes engine with all minor bits. It can be a good idea to add some wiring there too.

Front cab will have to be assembled out of separate panels, so be sure to dry-fit them in order to get a proper connections. Here you can also see the instrument panel.

Main chassis will have to be assembled out of separate bars, and two main ones you can see on this photo. Kit features detailed suspension, what might be handy for some build ideas.

There are a lot of small parts too, so be sure not to lose any of those.

Overall molding quality looks great, and I didn't find possible issue here.

Front doors are molded separately and can be opened on the finished model. The same can be done with the bonnet of your truck.

Kit offers two options of the front grille and radiators. Side walls for the rear bed are designed with smooth surfaces.

This frame comes in two, as you will get all necessary parts for Drilling guns here. You can choose between one or two guns in the back of the truck.

Rear section should be easy to assemble, and there are guiding elements to help you with that.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks in this kit.

Unpainted PE fret should be useful for some fine features on your model. Decals sheet is not that big, but it comes from Cartograf. Both markings can be seen on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New truck model kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who would like to build something different in popular scale. Just add some figures and you will get a cool combo in popular scale. Overall quality is just fine and should be easy to work with. Yes, there are some tiny bits to install, but final result should be worth the extra effort.
