Miniart 1/35 G7117 Cargo Truck with Water Trailer (53066)

This review will tell you more about Miniart 1/35 G7117 Cargo Truck with Water Trailer (53066). New release comes as a combo-set with two kits in one box. Such a thing might be handy for modelers who would like to build a diorama and maybe even repeat the same scene as on the boxart. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, so all frames come sealed in plastic bag. Truck itself was released in several versions before, so it will be interesting to see what is new here.
By the way, here you can read review with another combo-version of this truck.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.

We start with one of the biggest frames here, and you can notice that model will have separate bonnet, doors and fenders. In the bottom left corner you can also see shaping templates for PE parts.

Mudguards are also here on the separate frame. Overall molding quality looks fine, but some parts are quite thin.

Truck bed can be assembled either open or closed, but you can see on the boxart that closed version is recommended. Wooden panels don't have any texture on them, what is good.

Model features nicely detailed engine, and it should be easy to glue together and show on your build. Note also plastic bull bars as those might be useful for modelers who don't want to work with PE.

Front cab should be glued out of several panels. There are guiding elements inside which will help you with this action.

Plastic roadwheels are looking great here and should be fine for standard build. You can also find resin aftermarket in case you would like a bit more features here.

Trailer will have to be assembled separately and then connected with the truck. It was also sold as the separate kit, so you can expect great details here.

I like how even the smallest things are carefully replicated here. Be ready to plan your paintwork though.

Here you can see final two frames - one with rear tarp cover, and another one with the trailer parts.

Clear frame is packed separately. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks included here.

Kit also features large PE fret with parts for interior and exterior. Cartograf decals should be easy to work with, and printing quality looks fine.

Metal chain is another nice bonus to have in such set. As for the marking options, you can see them on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New combo-set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who would like to work on something more complex. Standard package features plenty of various things, so you just need to glue them together and choose the marking. Moreover, don't forget that Miniart also offers figurines which might be handy with this build project.
