Miniart 1/48 Junkers F13 Mid Prod. Military Service (48011)

This time I am going to tell you more about Miniart 1/48 Junkers F13 Mid Prod. Military Service (48011). New release comes as yet another version of German aircraft in popular scale. I reviewed the previous types, so it will be interesting to find out what is new here. Overall idea is still the same - nicely detailed aircraft with both internal and external features. Packaging is typical for this brand, so all frames are sealed into one plastic bag. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another great aircraft kit from the same brand.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.

We start with the biggest frame here, and it carries mix of various parts. Note that fuselage is divided into several panels which you can see on the photo above and below.

Such design allows us to preserve the original shape of the aircraft without dealing with weird seams and gaps. Note the separate fin and rudder on the separate frame.

Miniart supplies nicely detailed engine out of the box. It should be visible on the finished model, so be sure to work on paintwork and weathering.

There are several types of the wing parts available, because you are able to choose between transport and deployed version.

That's also why wing is divided into several panels and each side can be assembled separately. There are guiding pins inside which will help you with alignment.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks included in the kit.

What is the included is this nice unpainted PE fret, which will come handy for some fine features on your model build.

Decals sheet is not that big, but features all necessary symbols for several markings. Printing quality is great because the whole thing was printed in Cartograf. You can check all options on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a nice continuation of the Junkers lineup, and you can expect a great build straight out of the box. Yes, there are few spots which can be enhanced with aftermarket, but in my opinion even standard build would look great. The only thing that might be actually handy is the figurines in the same scale. :)
