Miniart 1/48 Fw 190D-9 JG54 Basic Kit (48035)

This time I am going to tell you more about Miniart 1/48 Fw 190D-9 JG54 Basic Kit (48035). New set comes as yet another version of the famous German fighter aircraft molded in popular scale. I reviewed previous two releases, so it will be interesting to see what is included here. Note that we get a different unit markings, and this is a Basic Kit, so there are no PE parts. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, so let's open it and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with Advanced version of the previous release.

First three frame carry mix of parts. All armament is standard even for the Basic Kit, so you will be able to choose configuration suitable for your build. Here you can also notice some parts in several assembly versions, what might be handy for variety.

Top wing halves come on the separate plastic frame. Landing gear wheels look fine, but you can also find some resin replacement if you would like to.

One-piece propeller comes on its own frame, just be careful with attachment points on the blades. Separate gun bay cover might be handy for some build ideas.

Both fuselage halves feature generous external details like recessed panel lines and rivets. Parts division is done in such a way so that you won't have problems in visible areas.

Lower wing half is a one-piece element. Traditional angle is nicely preserved here and should be easy to keep on the model.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, and you can open the cockpit if needed.

Decals sheet is quite large for two markings only. Here you will find not only external symbols, but also stencils and cockpit decals for your model. Both markings can be seen on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New model should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great continuation of the German fighter aircraft lineup from Miniart. One box will bring you all necessary things, and it can be even beginner-friendly. Moreover, there is some potential for additional details if you are willing to spend more. Nevertheless, I think that original plastic is just fine and standard build would look gorgeous.
