This review will tell you more about Miniart 1/48 Fw 190D-9 Mimetall Prod. Advanced Kit (48048). As you can guess from the name, new kit comes as even more detailed version of the German fighter model. I reviewed the previous Basic Kit, so it would be interesting to see what is actually offered in the new one. Advanced release should provide more features as well as some new markings inside. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, and all frames are sealed into one plastic bag. Let's open all of them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with the Basic version of this aircraft.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
First large frame carries mix of parts - cockpit floor, tail surfaces, landing gear legs and even two types of engine cooling flaps. Propeller is molded as one-piece element, what might be handy for a nice work.
Next we see new fuselage halves which are molded without cowling panels. You can compare them with the "previous" parts on the photo below. External features look great for this scale.
Note that two new parts still would use separate lower panel for the tail. Inside you will find only guiding elements.
Another novelty for Advanced Kit package - full engine. Parts come on the separate sprue, and it is quite cool that you can actually open cowling panels and show this powerplant.
Note that engine will also require slightly different support mounts and some other parts. Those come on another frame on the photo above.
Miniart includes some of the external equipment too. This might be handy in case you would like to have your aircraft loaded.
Landing gear wheels come in several versions and should look fine for the standard build. You can also replicate in-flight position, but there is no model stand included in the box.
Fuel tanks are also provided in the box.
Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, and those are classic two-piece assemblies, so you can even open cockpit on your model.
Unpainted PE fret will be useful for some fine features on your Fw 190. Note that even seatbelts can be copied with those parts.
Decals are printed in Cartograf. Overall quality looks great, and we even get segmentation. All three markings can be seen on the photo below.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.
Today's kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who would like to have the famous German fighter in their collection. Moreover, this package has all the necessary things, so you just need to build all parts together and choose the marking. I have no doubt that we will see future versions later, so we should stay tuned for more. By the way, don't forget that you can get separate Miniart set with German pilots and place one guy in your fighter aircraft. :)
