This review will tell you more about Meng 1/9 Kawasaki ZX-10RR (MT-008). As it is easy to guess, new version builds up on the previous release in the same scale. I reviewed it as well, so it will be interesting to see what is included here. Today's variant is actually a bit more performance-focused and features new Marchesini wheels as well as some other upgrades. Length of the finished model will be 232mm. Overall packaging is still the same, and you get large box with frames in separate bags. Let's open each of them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with the previous version in the same scale.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
First small frame brings us front fender panels. Those are looking great and only require careful separation off the frame.
Exhaust pipes are also nicely shaped and should be easy to install on the engine.
As far as I understood, this exhaust is only a standard option, and you would be better off using the one on the next photos.
Overall parts division is quite logical, so you won't get some large elements separate into several bits.
Those tires are new and come only in RR-version of Ninja. In the same bag you will find vinyl wire length as well as metal springs and screwdriver.
Separate assembly manual is dedicated to exhaust on this bike.
New parts look great out of the box. There are guiding elements inside which will help you with alignment.
Yes, there is a separate decals sheet for exhaust. Be sure to carefully apply those and you will get a nice paintwork result.
All external fairings are packed into separate bags. As you can see, they arrived to me intact. On the photo above I show side panels and tail cowling.
It is cool to see here one-piece front mask and fuel tank. Those will have a big influence on the final appearance of the bike.
Clear parts is another cool example of what can be achieved with modern technologies. Yes, you can mold clear and colored plastic parts together.
Airbox will have to be assembled separately. It is also a good idea to plan on how to pre-paint some of those parts as they will be hard to reach later.
Frame should be glued out of two halves. The same applies to the rear swingarm.
Some of smaller parts can be found on the sprue "H". Here you can see dashboard, for example.
Note that even smallest bits are nicely shaped.
Here you can see new wheels for today's bike. Those are Marchesini forged wheels and they definitely deserve a good paintwork.
I have no doubt that we will see upgrade sets for this kit, but even standard bits like drive chain look fine out of the box.
Tail fairing will have to be glued out of several parts. Here you can also see front mask for the headlamps.
Finished model will have moveable suspension and that's where the metal springs will come handy. Overall assembly is not that hard for those.
Engine cover has its own small frame.
As for the engine itself, it should be a great thing to build and paint. Just be sure to check some references.
Vinyl seat looks okay for out of the box build.
Metal brake rotors come as standard bonus from Meng. Those are definitely better than plastic parts and should look great on the model.
Just like any other motorcycle kit, this one requires panels assembly with help of screws.
Small PE frets will come in handy for various meshes on the bike. Chrome decals should be applied on mirrors.
Decals sheet is not that big, but features all necessary symbols for this bike. Printing quality looks great. Assembly manual is typical for Meng. I show all pages in the video-review.
New motorcycle should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is yet another great release from the well-known brand. You get all necessary features out of the box, and the final result should look like a real bike. Yes, some assembly steps will require due attention, but this is something worth it as the final look will only improve.
