Miniart 1/48 P-47D-11RE Thunderbolt Zemke's Wolfpack Advanced Kit (48034)

This article will tell you more about Miniart 1/48 P-47D-11RE Thunderbolt Zemke's Wolfpack Advanced Kit (48034). As you can guess, we get yet another version of the famous aircraft, but this time it comes as "Advanced Kit". That name hints at more bonuses inside, and those might be handy for even more fine project in popular scale. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, all frames are sealed into one plastic bag. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.

First frame is standard for P-47 from Miniart. You will see different top panels further in the article, and those might be useful to show what is inside the aircraft.

Tailwings and mechanization can be found on the next sprue. Note also cockpit parts which are generously covered with various features.

Miniart also supplies various external equipment in form of fuel tanks, bombs and some other items. Here you can also see one of the landing gear wheels versions.

Engine comes on the separate sprue, and you can also add fine details with help of metal wire. Landing gear wheels can be found on the top frame, and propeller is visible in the lower right one.

Here are the new top panels, which can be found only in Advanced Kit packaging. Those feature open ammo bays as well as some cowling panels and new firewall.

Both fuselage halves are molded together with tail fin. External details look great and should be easy to highlight on your build.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks for those parts.

Unpainted PE fret will be handy for the fine features on your model. Some parts are quite tiny and will require tweezers usage.

Decals sheet is printed in Cartograf, so quality looks great straight out of the box. On the main sheet you can also see decals for the cockpit.

Stencils are printed separately, and I recommend to get them all on your model. You can see all marking options on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New aircraft set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for those who would like to get a bit of extra in the box and don't want to search for aftermarket. Overall quality looks great, and amount of assembly options is really crazy. You will have to decide in advance on what you would like to do with your model. For me personally it is great to see in-flight position included too. Just find some good model stand, and you will have a nice result.
