Miniart 1/35 T-34/85 Czechoslovak Prod. Late Type (37078)

Today I have a chance to tell you more about Miniart 1/35 T-34/85 Czechoslovak Prod. Late Type (37078). New tank version comes in the same scale as the previous one, but can turn into a nice copy of the late type vehicle. Overall idea is still the same - detailed kit without interior. Such a thing might be attractive for some modelers who would like to focus on external features. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, and all frames come sealed in one plastic bag. Let's open it and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with Early type of this tank.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.

On the first large frame you will see hull sections. Note that all hatches are molded separately. Smaller frames are dedicated to roadwheels and some minor elements.

Turret should be assembled out of several parts. Separate parts are used to copy interior walls and should be installed into the "shell".

Main gun features one-piece barrel, what is also nice for a good-looking model. It is good to have at least some internal elements as those will be visible with open hatches.

Today's tank features separate track links, so be ready to spend some time with those. There is no assembly jig included in the kit.

Suspension parts are also included as they still will be visible on the finished model. Roadwheels are molded as one-piece elements, so be ready to carefully paint rubber sections.

Even though this is a 1:35 scale kit, there are a lot of small parts. Some of them will have to be installed with tweezers.

As it was mentioned before, all hatches can be assembled in open position. That is why we get them as separate parts.

Those columns will be installed inside lower hull section.

Top hull cover comes as one-piece element. Note also side walls for the lower hull section.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks nice, but there are no masks included in the kit.

Unpainted PE fret should be handy for some fine features on your tank. Engine mesh is also here, and that is quite noticeable feature of T-34.

Decals are printed in Cartograf, and you don't have to worry about printing quality here. All marking options are shown on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New tank version should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it might be an attractive choice for modelers who would like to build a model without interior. You still get here a lot of things that are usually ignored by other manufacturers. Moreover, standard quality looks great and assembly won't be difficult. The only thing to add is some figurines so that tank would look even more convincing.
