This article is dedicated to Eduard 1/144 Spitfire Mk.IXE E-Day 2024 Entrance Kit. As you can guess, such set is something you can get while attending the famous exhibition. While plastic is not new, there should be new markings included, so it is interesting to see everything. Packaging is simple, and all parts come in transparent resealable plastic bag. Let's open it and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another Spitfire kit from the same brand.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
First frame is dedicated to fuselage halves. Note that one of them is molded together with rudder which will be used as guiding element. Tailwings are one-piece here.
Inside you will find empty walls as there is no cockpit included. For this scale it is normal, but there is aftermarket available which will help you fix this issue.
Wing is also one-piece element, which comes on its own frame. Of course, all mechanization elements are molded in.
Clear frame carries only one part - canopy. Molding quality looks fine, but you can't open it. There are no masks included in the kit.
Decals sheet is not that big, but has all necessary symbols. Printing quality looks fine. Assembly manual is typical for this brand, and I show all pages in the video-review.
New kit was available at the exhibition, but now you can find maybe from some private resellers. Another option is just to get the different boxing, as the only difference will be in the markings. Overall quality looks fine for this scale and assembly should be easy too. I can recommend this plastic even to beginners who would like to have tiny Spitfire in their collection.
