This review will tell you more about Brengun 1/72 SA 318C Alouette II (BRS72024). New release comes as a small scale copy of French helicopter. We get a true multimedia set as one box will bring you plastic, resin and PE parts together. All this sounds like quite a project to work on, but final result should look great, and for me it is interesting what is included in this small box. Overall packaging is pretty standard here, all parts come in one bag. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another helicopter in the same scale.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.
Unlike some previous reviews, here I would like to start with PE parts. Those elements will play quite important role as half of helicopter is copied with metal parts.
Overall quality looks nice, but I would recommend to get PE bender and sharp tweezers in order to be able to install everything properly.
Next we continue with resin parts. Here it will be necessary to cleanup some of them to get the final look.
Both seats are casted as one-piece elements. Overall quality looks great, but it might be worth to spend some time properly painting those.
Kit is full of small parts, so it requires extra care to handle those without breaking. Note that one part broke off due to being packed together with others.
I have to say that overall quality looks great and parts have many features already on them. Don't forget about PE parts which you will have to add here and there.
Here you can also see engine nozzle and fuselage floor panel. I like how nozzle is designed, so it might be also worth to play with painting and weathering it.
Tricky part is supplied in form of vacu-formed canopy sections. Those look great, but there is only one pair in the box, and also no masks included.
Rotor blades are made in plastic. Some of you wrote that this is a noticeable improvement over original version, so those three parts will be useful for a bit more convincing look.
Decals sheet doesn't look new and probably was featured in the original release. Note also small film for the instruments panel. Assembly manual is typical for this brand, and I show all pages in the video-review.
New set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is an interesting choice for modelers who are brave enough to work with such parts combo. This is definitely not something for beginners, so be sure in your hands before starting this helicopter. Overall quality looks great, and subject is so rare that you won't find any other analogue. Definitely recommended for all aviation fans. :)
