Miniart 1/35 German 3t Cargo Truck 3.6-36s Pritsche-Normal-Type Military Service (35442)

In this article I am going to check Miniart 1/35 German 3t Cargo Truck 3.6-36s Pritsche-Normal-Type Military Service (35442). As you can guess, this truck is based on the new-tooled plastic in popular scale. I reviewed one of the versions, and today we get the military one to check. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, so let's see what is inside.
By the way, here you can read review with another version of the same truck.

Check out this video where I show even more parts closer.

First frame carries mix of various parts - engine sections, some suspension elements and front cab parts. Overall quality looks great out of the box.

Rear bed should be assembled out of separate panels. You can assemble those either in open or closed positions.

Wheels design is quite smart here as you build one wheel out of several sections. There are guiding pins which will help you with this.

This kit also carries various pioneer tools which can be placed on the truck. Note also two versions of the front grille.

Miniart also included jerrycans, which might be useful for adding some visual interest to your build.

Front cab is separated into several panels, which should be aligned with help of guiding pins. Note also chassis bars with premolded leaf springs.

Wheel rims can be painted separately and then inserted in between tire sections. Bonnet panels can be also assembled in open position.

Rear wheel fenders come as one-piece parts and should be easy to install.

Doors are molded separately and can be also assembled in open position. This might be useful in order to show cabin interior.

Last frame is dedicated to rear bed floor panel as well as chassis sections.

Small unpainted PE fret should be handy for some fine features on the truck.

Clear frame is packed together with decals. Molding quality looks great, but there are no decals unfortunately.

Decals are printed in Cartograf and look great out of the box. There are all necessary symbols for six markings which you can see on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

This new-tooled plastic kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who would like to have a detailed set out of the box. Moreover, whole design looks like a good thing to work on. There is also a PE included, so some features will be copied too. The only thing that I am still waiting for in Miniart kit is the masks template for even better paintwork.
Get this and other kits in Modelimex webshop.

Pros

  • Great molding quality
  • Clever parts division
  • Nice decals
  • PE included

Cons

  • No masks for clear parts
